If I knew what this association is board is all about, I would NOT have purchased a home in the Sheffield Towne Association !!!

Maintenance Managment s is creep stares in peoples windows And does a whole Lotta nothing. Him and his crew supposedly took a tree trimming class yet most of the trees have dead limbs hanging off of them. They also make a bunch of useless purchases all the time. And try to justify them using it once a year

If I could 0 stars I would. We were fantastic renters, got in at great prices. However, they realized they can charge about $400 more a month so we are being kicked out, received renewal papers last month then last week boom, we aren't renewing your lease, no explanation. Terrible ground maintenance, and always bandaid fixes. They follow the rules when it's convenient for them. Office people, rude and think they are better than all. Good luck renting from them. Prepare for ants, bees and bugs! Facts!

Roy is a weirdo/creep that likes looking through peoples windows. Then when you call him out on it, he says you told me to come there. He also broke my property and denied it. I wish I could give no stars at all.

Lived here almost 10 years. It's quiet and pretty well kept, although it was better maintained when I first moved in.
We used to have snow removal, including our walkways. We no longer have that, (walkways) but since fees have gone up 2 times since I've moved in, I'd like to see that returned to us, especially for those who do not spend all winter here, but would like to have clear walkways in winter.
Also, landscaping has not been as in the past. For the past few years, I find I have to remind the office to tell the yard care company to trim bushes and edge gardens... although they seem to be able to chop down my lillies every year with no problems.
If more attention to detail was done now, as in the past, I'd give it another star.

Worst management ever. Workers all across the board are lazy down to the office lady. The property Managment likes to give residents the run around cause he is either too cheap or lazy to do anything and his crew follows suit. The property is managed by the residents and we all light $200 a month in HOA fees on fire. Every other association in the area is well kept, has good snow removal in the winter and has pools open in the summer, not Sheffield towne. I wouldn’t recommend buying property here if you’re actually looking to get your money’s worth in HOA, you won’t get it here.

we moved out of Sheffield Towne 25 years ago. at that time, it was a nice place to live. hate to hear that it has gone down in quality. but then again, any community that does not have active participation by the unit owners will decline. its takes impute and participation. Run for the board. attend meetings.

They need to let is know when they are gonna clean the gutters , because all they do is blow the debris in your yard and on your furniture . Guy cleaned it up this time because I was home to catch him , and I told him he better get down and clean it because last time they ruined my furniture cushions . A little respect goes a long way. I was only yelling because we keep our yard nice and I don't want to have to clean up after the lazy landscapers.

This is my 7th year living here, Saturday morning when I woke up the snow removal crew was gone so I moved my car around 12pm cuz I worked Friday night, after I moved my car I went to the association office and request to Ron (Managment ) to have someone come over and move the snow I even explain him my situation, idk why he always gives me attitude and said maybe, I waited the whole day no one came to remove the snow front of my garage when the snow removal truck drove by twice in front my house after I request. Can someone please email me Sheffield towne 800 number so I can make a official complain. I'm so getting tired with this Schaumburg management crew, everytime I go to office for anything all I get back is attitude, idk what I'm paying $200 for?

Emailed the website for the Association’s Rules, which is 21 pages long, because we never got them when we moved in. Instead of just sending me a digital copy, the property spends an hour arguing with me.

Stay far away from this community. We have been here for twenty years and if we could move we would. Poorly run management and a Board that does little or nothing. Everyone blames everyone else. Going downhill fast...

The previous Managment and staff worked their butts off just to get fired or laid off because most of the homeowners don't follow the bylaws that they are supposed to follow !!!!!

All you have to do is drive through Sheffield Towne, and you can see just how bad it is. The primary issue is the Property Managment . If you have a complaint, beware; he will bully and harass you. The guy is a control freak from talking to the staff, neighbor, and former board member. When you call the office, the office Managment will tell you, I have to ask the Property Managment , with something she should be able to answer as she has been there 26 plus years. We recently the maintenance crew painted. The mess this guy made, the paint on the light fixture, the front day, the bricks, and even the driveway. When we complained, the answer was that you should have covered everything up. Finally, we had to go to the board president since he is not a people person and doesn't like or know how to deal with people. The only redeeming quality is the Board President. Finally, we have someone honest who doesn't steal.
